It seems like the election should be this November. President Bush still has 15 months left in office and all we hear about is this cast of characters vying to become the next president.

There’s a ton of opinion to be stated on this subject. However, for now I’ll keep it short and sweet. My choice for president would be Mike Huckabee. I am inline with nearly every position he has taken. He speaks common sense and isn’t some moderate/left candidate with an ‘R’ beside his name. The problem is he’s not well known and will not receive the financial backing to push him to the top. The republican party wants a moderate to go up against Hillary so they have a fighting chance to beat her. I predict it will be Rudy or Mitt Romney. A lot of people say there isn’t a real conservative in the bunch but I disagree. Mike Huckabee is the one for true conservative republicans. That’s not to say I won’t vote for whoever wins the nomination. I will be casting my vote against Hillary.

1Why not ron paul? He’s a wonderful guy, and he just hit 18 million dollars from grass root donations from all across the country. Check out this short video about him. He speaks the truth. http://youtube.com/watch?v=FG2PUZoukfA

2If it wasn’t for his alignment with the democrats on Iraq I would say you have a good case. However, just because we leave the rest of the world alone that doesn’t mean they are going to leave us alone. If we don’t have freedom and national security nothing else matters.
